With the goal of starting to operate in the Argentine market, Enerpal has decided to open a branch in that country in conjunction with the local Argentine Firm Global Valley, represented by the local businessman Daniel Cecive, to respond to projects throughout the national territory.
The promotion and development of Energy Generation Power Plants will be carried out through renewable sources in all dimensions, focusing on solving the energy problems given nowadays in the country by providing energy solutions to those energy consumers interested in the implementation of renewable technologies, generating economic savings in terms of energy costs, as well as presenting investment options to both small entrepreneurs or national investors who want to invest in these types of projects since the local market falls currently short of appropriate tools to channel them.
It is noteworthy that, as of December 31, 2017, according to the recently applied Law 27.191, large users (industries and companies), those that hire a power greater or equal to 300 kW (which constitute 32 percent of the National electricity demand) must be supplied at 8% of their consumption from renewable energy sources.
Many of the companies in the region are within mentioned range of power demand, hence they must supply their consumption from these sources of energy.
This challenge of achieving the development of energy generation through renewable sources in Argentina shall be based on the contribution and resources of national and local SMEs, in order to ensure the success and sustainability of the model.
