Enerpal has been prequalified to supervise the construction and operation and maintenance for a 250MW wind power farm project in Gulf of Suez (Egypt) for a period of 66 months. Only 5 global firms have been prequalified and approved to submit the technical and financial proposal for the scope of services.
The Egyptian New and Renewable Energy Authority is seeking assistance during the contract negotiations, construction supervision, acceptance testing and technical controlling during the warranty period for a turnkey EPC contract for a wind power farm with a capacity of 250MW. The project is jointly funded by the Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Commission (EU), the German Financial Cooperation through KFW and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The main objective of the assignment of the bidder for the project is to ensure that the project is carried out efficiently and in compliance with the standards and requirements of KfW, AFD, EIB and EU including the technical supervision of construction and O&M warranty period, even the equipment inspections, test and commissioning, identify critical measures, acceptance certificates, assurance of quality, monitoring the implementation of the Environmental and Social impact Assessment (ESIA), verifying the Health, Safety and Environment-social Management, etc.
