In the city of Palencia (Castilla y León), there are three residential and commercial buildings that have entrusted Enerpal with the integral renovation of its boiler room through an energy services contract. The owners of the community had a centralized boiler room that used coal and diesel as sources of energy, whose performance had begun to decline years ago and, as in most housing buildings, their annual costs were the largest part of community spending, not only for the purchase of fuel but also for the increase in breakdowns and increase in maintenance costs.
To solve this problem they had one of the Energy Service Companies (ESCO) of reference at the national level, Enerpal, company with which the community signed Energy Services contract through which this company would be responsible for carrying out from: I) The necessary investment to carry out the integral reform, including the design, construction, legalization and start-up of the same, until II) Once the reform and start-up of the new installation, also of the operation, management and maintenance of the new boiler room, including fuel purchases, and therefore this company is responsible for generating in the new installation all the heat needed to provide the heating service demanded by the community of owners. All this allowing at all times that customers only have to be aware of the heat they want for their homes, it is also very important to note that the new facility has a Full Warranty and Assistance Service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for the duration of this contract.
And it is that more than a year ago they completed the renovation works of the boiler room of the buildings and that Enerpal began to provide the energy service of heating using biomass as an energy source. Since then, the residents of this community of owners have been able to see the great advantages of having Enerpal inside their homes, as well as the fact that now the community of owners pays the heating service only on the basis of the energy they consume. that is registered in an approved counter for that purpose – they can also “presume” that “for what they paid before only for coal and diesel, they now have the best heat administered, maintenance and supply of fuel; and do not have to worry about going down to turn off or turn on the heating, have a new facility equipped with more efficient equipment, have stability in energy prices, total guarantee of the facilities, greater security – when using an absolutely safe fuel -, greater environmental respect by avoiding CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and, in addition, -as the fuel comes from renewable sources in Castilla y León-, they allow generating wealth in the Region “.
