The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) has invited companies to develop a 200MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Kom Ombo, Aswan (Egypt) whereby the successful tenderer will have to carry out the project under BOO conditions hence the company shall make the required investment in the power plant, in the construction and subsequent operation and maintenance.
Enerpal is one of the 15 companies prequalified by EETC to develop this project within an extensive list of companies that submitted their interest in the tender process. In addition, Enerpal has participated in the visit to the plot where the project will be located to check on site the technical conditions of the plot, the grid connection and logistics.
Nowadays, Enerpal is in the process of technical design as well as setting out the financial strategy for the project and negotiating with investors who want to participate in such investment.
