Located in Castile and Leon, they will have 25 wind turbines manufactured by Gamesa, 2 megawatts (MW) of unit power.
Its investment is more than 90 million euros and will create direct and indirect positions for more than 60 people. They will be operational in 2012.
Enerpal, a leading company in the energy sector, after several years of processing has begun the construction of two wind power plants – Mirasierra and El Raso – located in the province of Palencia, with a total power of 50 MW.
The company will invest more than 90 million euros in the construction of these plants, where it will be necessary to hire about 54 people and for its operation and maintenance is expected to create about 22 new fixed permanent jobs.
For the construction of these plants there are companies of the first level such as Inbisa, Isolux and Elecnor which, together with Gamesa, will install 25 wind turbines of 2 MW of unit power, estimating its commissioning at the end of the second quarter of 2012.
Gamesa will be responsible for the operation and maintenance services of both plants over a period of 10 years.
The 50 MW of power from these plants will produce about 122 GWh of energy per year and will mean an annual saving of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere of 28,000 kg / year, allowing the annual energy consumption of around 12,000 Households.
Enerpal, in addition to this construction, is finalizing the closure of another wind power plant in Portugal, whose information will be provided later.
